1st Session :

 馃懡In this first session , I was able to look at some of the principles and guidelines of the subject which basically portrayed the methodology to be carried out in the class , as well as , I was explained a little bit about the competencies I have acquired through the whole major , I had the chance to examine my competencies by looking at the list that a major in English professional should have acquired up to now. After taking some time on the introduction of the subject , I had to write down and fill out a sheet provided by our instructor in which I had to express some of the expectations I had about    Fundamentals of competency-based education. My expectation was to learn more about classroom management because in my experience and while I was doing my teaching practices I was able to witnessed how the teacher failed to keep the students silent, and there were gossips about a student who threatened the teacher´s wellness , so I really believe that it is needed some kind of reinforcement or practices regarding that situation. As a final activity , the instructor explained to us some guidelines regarding TBI which basically worries about the outcomes of learning . After taking some notes and discuss some situations regarding TBI , I had to join a group of work of four members while the teacher was explaining to us what we should write in a sheet that he provided to start the project or research we desire to implement. We had the chance to interact with classmates ,and share some of the ideas that can be considered for our research. Let me tell you that I greatly support the doing to learn instead of being a passive learner just listening the teacher´s class , so I´m looking forward to learn from this TBI experience as our first content.

WELCOME ! TO : Fundamentals of competency-based education This is just an introduction to the subject and experience I had the first time I got into the classroom.  Pre-session :  馃懡I had the chance to express my expectations and ideas about the subject , a sheet where my personal information such as names , contact numbers , expectations was filled out ,and delivered to the instructor.   馃懡 I joined a group work since the very first day of class to work on our research.  馃懡 It was a time to refresh knowledge and learn new information.

In this session , We took a look at    THE EFFECTS OF PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT IN THE CLASSROOM IN BASIC ENGLISH STUDENTS  Within this topic , I can tell that classroom environment does influence in students since this has to do with ilumination , temperature , desks arrangement . If these factors are not contemplated before getting students into an uncomfortable environment they might probably be affected in their concentration. I do believe that an innaproriate environment influences in our learning process when intercating in the classroom since sometimes we tend to feel sleepy when the classroom tempetature is too hot . The same happens where the room is too cold we start shaking to a point where we get hypothermia , and consequently we do not pay attention to what is going on  around us. Session 2 :   馃懡 Today , our instructor showed us some of the comments regarding classmates´expectations about the subject. Mine was not there ,but I hope it is taken into account. The class was focused on a presentation about key information of Task based Instruction . I took a look at some of the elements that make learners competent ,and it is incredible how many students see themselves as worthless . Everyone has a capacity which is basically the point from which each student starts , and of course it has to be motivated and updated in order to reach some of the desired competencies. Furthermore , it is quite important to provide the learner a certain situation in whhich he is able to perform any action to solve it.  馃懡 In addition , I learnt that having a competency assures that I´m capable of doing or solving a task wherever is needed , and that success is based in a 100% of being successful in performing such a tassk.
