4th MODULE 3rd SESSION 

In this opportunity , the class started with two groups`presentations regarding their graduation project. The first one was THE EFFECTS OF USING TECHNOLOGY IS ESL CLASSROOMS , and what I recall from the information provided is that years ago , we did not have the feasability of finding out fast information related to certain topics since there was no internet as nowadays . Today , students have the chance to get information almost in a minute and just with one click on the keyboard. Students are able to download books , material , and sources for their learning process. 

Furthermore , teachers are not always physically present in a classroom they have now the chance to implement classes on-line by suscribing to folllow the material shared by the teacher . 

To conclude , there are  more advantages for the educational system to work , and there is no excuses for students to be doing nothing with their learning when there is plenty of information to get and apply it in their lives. 


The second topic was , Methods and strategies that teachers need to use in large classes .
In my opinion and experience , it is quite difficult to have a class with more than 30 students since the classroom management is almost impossible to apply . and most of the time the teacher does not know how to deal with inappropriate behaviors from the students.


There are some tips that might work when working with large classes , one is getting the students to work in pairs in that way they will be able to interact and learn from eachother. Second, is to be very strict with the order and correct behavior expected within the classroom by providing a set of rules to follow inside the classroom.

Furthermore, I do believe that a teacher must show confidence since the very beginning of a learning process because if the students notice a shy tecaher , they are going to take advantage of the teacher.




At last , the session ended with a group discussion and work based on task analysis when we had to create objectives , indicators , skills ,attitudes and the tasks with which students supposedly will accomplish a certain competency of a specific content, I was able to refresh my mind regarding some concepts and the way some processes are done.

In this session , We took a look at    THE EFFECTS OF PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT IN THE CLASSROOM IN BASIC ENGLISH STUDENTS  Within this topic , I can tell that classroom environment does influence in students since this has to do with ilumination , temperature , desks arrangement . If these factors are not contemplated before getting students into an uncomfortable environment they might probably be affected in their concentration. I do believe that an innaproriate environment influences in our learning process when intercating in the classroom since sometimes we tend to feel sleepy when the classroom tempetature is too hot . The same happens where the room is too cold we start shaking to a point where we get hypothermia , and consequently we do not pay attention to what is going on  around us. Session 2 :   👽 Today , our instructor showed us some of the comments regarding classmates´expectations about the subject. Mine was not there ,but I hope it is taken into account. The class was focused on a presentation about key information of Task based Instruction . I took a look at some of the elements that make learners competent ,and it is incredible how many students see themselves as worthless . Everyone has a capacity which is basically the point from which each student starts , and of course it has to be motivated and updated in order to reach some of the desired competencies. Furthermore , it is quite important to provide the learner a certain situation in whhich he is able to perform any action to solve it.  👽 In addition , I learnt that having a competency assures that I´m capable of doing or solving a task wherever is needed , and that success is based in a 100% of being successful in performing such a tassk.
